Triple Mahjong 2 - Second Game

Triple Mahjong 2 is one of the new free online mahjong games that come with a different set of rules. Normally, mahjong games need you to remove the tiles in pairs but with the new version, you get to remove them in triples. This is a great leap when it comes to challenge since the game becomes harder; this is a fact that mahjong fans will appreciate. You get to remove tiles from the board but they must be three similar tiles. Apart from being similar, they should also have at least one side free. This means that they can be moved to the left or right without disturbing other files; they should also not have any other on top. This may seem simple, until you get to a point where you cannot see any more free tiles, even when you know there must be; this is when you get to use the hint button. When the computer finally tells you that you cannot make any more moves, then you can use the shuffle button to shuffle the tiles so you can move once more. These buttons are to be used as the last resort since they are very costly when it comes to points; the hint button is not as costly as the shuffle button. If you are not careful, you could end up with a negative score, something that would be quite a shame even to post. The game is timed and the faster that you finish the tiles, the bigger the bonus will be. It is therefore important that you remove all the tiles quickly. Another thing to note is that the game will come to an end if the timer gets to zero, so use the pause button if you have to go away for a short while and protect what you have gained.

Getting to play mahjong was a privilege that was afforded to the rich in china in the 1880s; the game was considered fit for the rich due to the beauty of its design. However, with time, the commoners began playing and the popularity of the game spread like wildfire. The game got out of China and made its way to Japan where it was idolized once more. However, as the years went by, the Japanese had to modify the rules of their version. After that the game found its way into the west and it also became very popular here. So popular was mahjong that companies started importing sets from china, and bones had to be taken to China to make the game. This proved to be the start of an era for this game and the trend went on for a while before the popularity waned. The depression was ending and people had to get many jobs so as to recover economically. The game is still played to this day, but in very tight circles. The solitaire version, however, is very popular so you should try your hand at this new version which has a different rule set from that which you may have been used to.
